Muesli

A tasty baked muesli with dried fruit.

Cook time: 30 minutes
Yield: 3.5 litres

Ingredients:
Dry ingredients
- 8 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 1/2 cups wheatgerm
- 1 1/2 cups bran
- 3 tsp mixed spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Liquids
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup milk
Dried fruit
- 15 dried apricots
- 10 dried pineapple chunks
- 1 cup sultanas
Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients in a large roasting pan, then add liquids and mix more.
Bake for 30–40 mins at 180°C, stirring every 10 minutes.
Leave to cool, then cut up and add dried fruit.
Store in an airtight container, and eat with milk or yoghurt.
